Jennifer Lopez has always incorporated her sense of style into every aspect of her life. In 2001, Jennifer fulfilled one of her greatest fantasies when she launched her signature collection of sportswear, JLO by Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer Lopez started the trend of celebrity fashion brands and has made her sense of style and fashion available to women throughout the world.
“I’ve always had great respect for fashion icons and their impact on society. I’m working to fulfill my vision of creating a brand that incorporates every aspect of my life,” said Jennifer Lopez. “I am in the fashion business to create a brand that will have an effect on the women’s marketplace.”
In April 2001, Jennifer Lopez joined forces with Andy Hilfiger to form the JLO brand holding company, Sweetface Fashion Company. Under the Sweetface umbrella, Jennifer and Andy have created a complete lifestyle brand with 11 different product categories and including Girls, Swimwear, Fragrances (Glow by JLO, Still Jennifer Lopez, Body Glow by JLO, Miami Glow), Eyewear, Jewelry, Hats, Gloves, and Scarves, Outerwear, Handbags, Lingerie, Watches and Footwear. In July 2002, Sweetface began international distribution to Canada and Central America and in June 2004, Sweetface partnered with Crocus International to open the first JLO boutique in the Crocus Mall in Russia. In February 2005, at Olympus Fashion Week in NYC, Jennifer Lopez and Andy Hilfiger showcased their JLO and Sweetface collections for Fall/Holiday 05. Following the response they received during Fashion Week, the new women’s contemporary brand, Sweetface, was shown to retailers in June and will hit stores in October of this year.

In the beginning of 2007, JustSweet, a new clothing line by Jennifer Lopez was announced. Yes, it is indeed one word and not Just Sweet – according to Lopez, “I am aware that it is supposed to be two words. But I like the sound of it as one word. It just flows.” With a lineup of sexy and ladylike dresses, tops, leather jackets, wool coats, printed hoodies, and cropped cardigans with interesting buttons, JustSweet by Jennifer Lopez is positioned to rake in more than $10 million at wholesale the first year. Priced between $11 to $89 at wholesale, it will be positioned as a high end junior sportswear line with a denim-centric focus. “We really worked hard to get the fit right,” says Lopez. “I know I drove the girls crazy, but everything had to fit perfectly. I think we were successful. These are jeans that you would pay a lot of money for from another company — these are $59 retail.”
