Here’s a new interview that appeared in the new issue of dutch ‘Beau Monde’ magazine. Please credit us as your source when reposting this interview that has been translated by us. Thanks!

Jennifer Lopez has everything! A successful carreer, a cute husband, an amazing skin and two adorable babies; Emme and Max. Jennifer has also developed a new fragrance, Deseo by Jennifer Lopez, and Beau Monde was there when the new scent was introduced in New York.

The tension rises when we [Beau Monde] are being lined up in a small hallway leading to the penthouse on the upperfloor of the Royalton Hotel. Instructions follow, do’s and don’ts are being instructed and – oh no! – we aren’t allowed to take any pictures. The journalist for People Magazine – who has interviewed her about five times before – confesses that she is extremely nervous.

Suddenly a door opens and we shake hands with Jennifer Lopez. She is sitting on an huge sofa in an oversized grey, woollen dress. She is wearing brand new Christian Louboutins. This woman is born with ‘star quality’. She is looking gorgeous with her radient skin and lovely styled ponytail. The stuffed animals we bought for her twins disappear in her bag. She confesses that she is a little tired after a long day as this one, but thankfully she has enough energy left to do the interview.

DailyMail Interview - “The mother of all Divas”

DailyMail Interview
Today, the DailyMail put a new Jennifer Lopez interview on their website - taken by Jane Gordon. Let me tell you that this interview isn’t all that great. I get a very negative vibe from the person who interviewed her, like she wasn’t satisfied with the interview herself because Jennifer didn’t want to talk about her pregnancy. Unlike some other celebs that are always talking about their pregnancy in every single interview and putting their naked pregnant bodies on covers, I am glad that Jennifer is different and kept mum. The pregnancy is her and Marc’s business, not someone elses. Just my 2 cents.

She may be an expectant mother, but Jennifer Lopez is in no mood to talk about it. In a final interview before taking a baby break, she teaches Jane Gordon a thing or two about pregnant pauses…

Jennifer Lopez isn’t happy.

A full ten minutes after her arrival in the plush penthouse suite of New York’s Royalton hotel she is still waiting for refreshments.

And, clearly, it just isn’t good enough.

“Hey!” she commands in a shrill Bronx accent.

“How about a little latte around here or something?”

A milky coffee on a cold Manhattan morning is a long way from the usual outrageous “riders” that Ms Lopez demands.

It doesn’t compare with the white Egyptian cotton sheets (”with a thread count of no less than 250″), the Evian water “at room temperature” or the £40 Diptyque candles that “her people” (there are around 20 of them in the next room) have been known to request on her behalf at hotels, on film sets or at concert venues.

But times have changed for the 38-year-old actress and singer, and now she seems more concerned about calcium counts than thread counts.

Which is as it should be for a woman who is six or seven months (estimates vary) into her first pregnancy.

Ms Lopez - or should that be Mrs Marc Anthony - has been very secretive about her condition, hiding her burgeoning bump beneath an array of ponchos and kaftans before finally announcing (to 10,000 fans at a Miami stadium in November) that “Marc and I are expecting”.

This is one of the first (and by all accounts one of the last) interviews she is giving before taking a three-month baby break, and I have come ready for a cosy chat about nursing bras, stretch marks and caesarean scars.

‘Like everyone, I have made mistakes. The only difference being I ...

The Observer had an interview with Jennifer while she was in London to promote her new album and single. Enjoy;

For a while life for Jennifer Lopez was pure soap opera. But now, with a new album and film about to be released, the Latin superstar hopes we’ll focus more on her work and less on those eye-popping headlines. She talks to Chrissy Iley about being third-time lucky in marriage, those endless pregnancy rumours and why she still loves a big blue diamond

Jennifer Lopez is wearing this season’s must-have riding boots from Gucci - 5in heel, 1in platform, glossy, shiny. She’s teamed them with tight leather leggings, a creamy sweater and gold jewellery. On anyone else, or indeed on Jennifer in times gone by, this ensemble would have looked striking but hard. Now there is a softness to her, along with an unambiguous happiness about her smile and eyes.

El Cantate: In US theaters Now [Aug 3rd]

Everyone who lives in the US can check out “El Cantante” as of TODAY. Have fun guys!! BTW; for the Marc fans here are the videos of him appearing on The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live - promoting El Cantante.

It has been five years in the making, but producer Jennifer Lopez is finally bringing her Hector Lavoe biopic to the screen with “El Cantante.” Not only did she serve as a producer on the film, she also stars as Hector’s devoted wife Puchi. It’s a stunning performance that captures the true heart of the woman. This is a bravado turn for Lopez, and it should redeem some of her screen cred after having appeared in a string of so-called ‘flops’.

J-Lo recently stopped by the Four Seasons to talk with a gaggle of journalists about the project. She was in a great mood, arrived on time, and gave us quite the scoop. This is our [Movieweb.com] conversation: Continue reading »

For Lopez, the drama stays on the screen

Filed under: Interviews, News Articles by Imko

NEW YORK — Five and a half years ago, Jennifer Lopez read a script about the meteoric rise and even more spectacular fall of Puerto Rican salsa legend Hector Lavoe.

She had just one person in mind to play the volatile, drug-addled lead: a slim Latino singer named Marc Anthony. So she called him about a month later and asked him to sign on as Hector, opposite her Puchi, the crooner’s fiercely protective wife.

In a twist worthy of a steamy Lavoe love song, Lopez and Anthony, 38, have been married since 2004, after a top-secret June wedding in her Los Angeles backyard. And now, they’re starring in El Cantante, the gritty retelling of Lavoe and Puchi’s turbulent, often twisted partnership.
