Jennifer did not do an interview for The Daily Beast

In an interview posted on the The Daily Beast (former Vanity Fair and New Yorker editor Tina Brown’s new online media venture), Jennifer discusses a host of controversial topics with writer Kevin Sessums.
Lopez reportedly told Sessums she experienced depression following the birth of her and husband Marc Anthony’s twins, Emme and Max.
“At the tenth day after giving birth all that chemical stuff did peak — that hormone thing — and I did cry a lot that day because I was having so much trouble moving. I couldn’t get up fast enough to feed the babies…” Lopez tells Sessums.
“Marc was helping out a lot and I was crying and crying and going, ‘Oh, Papi… they’re going to know everybody more than me…They’re going to love everybody more than me!’”
But a rep for Lopez tells Access Hollywood that the singer/actress never interviewed with the site.
“Jennifer Lopez did not do an interview for the Daily Beast,” her rep tells Access Hollywood.
Lopez did, however, do an interview with Kevin Sessums for this month’s ELLE cover story, but after the first of what was supposed to be a two-part interview took place, Lopez and her team “weren’t comfortable with the questioning,” according to the star’s rep, who acknowledged that they asked that another writer interview Lopez instead.
The Daily Beast discloses that Sessums’ removal from the ELLE cover story did indeed take place, writing on their site, “The interview was originally done for a major fashion magazine, which removed Sessums from the story after Lopez regretted some of her comments and asked that the story not be published.”
“The story accurately reports what Kevin Sessums learned from Ms. Lopez in his interview,” a rep for the Web site tells Access. “He owns the story and The Daily Beast was happy to publish it.”
A source close to the situation tells Access that after Sessums was removed from the story, he allegedly threatened everyone, including ELLE Magazine. Access’ source also claims Sessums was not authorized to give the Lopez interview to The Daily Beast and is not sure if the quotes on the Tina Brown news Web site are accurate.
Access reached out to Sessums, who deferred to The Daily Beast for comment.
Lopez’s rep confirmed to Access that a legal letter has been sent to Sessums regarding the interview. ELLE magazine was also contacted for comment, but has not yet been reached.

this is so stupid, let’s stop giving this story credit by refusing to comment on it anymore, jennifer has no need to defend herself against these rediculous accusations, so we shouldn’t feel the need to do it for her, lets rather focus on the positive press she gets, i no everyone is jus trying to help, but talking about this story is only addding more fuel to the fire! cant wait for her to start work on her new films! love u always jen x

Why is everybody getting so upset about this story? J Lo doesn’t come across as anything but a normal human being. So she had a nervous breakdown… who cares? She and Elle are actually coming across as the bad one because they killed this story. It makes you wonder: What are they trying to hide?
