Jennifer meets with Barack Obama’s staff

Jennifer Lopez travelled to Washington D.C. on Tuesday (10Jun08) to meet with presidential candidate Barack Obama’s staff and discuss health care and education.
Obama was away from the capital, but Lopez - the mother of four month old twins Max and Emme - discussed her interest in the subjects with members of his team.
Her representative tells People.com,
“Ms. Lopez was on the (Capitol) Hill with her sister to meet with staff members of several senators to discuss issues she is interested in, such as health care and education.”
A spokesperson for Obama confirms,
“She just came in for the meeting and departed. It was not campaign-related.”
