TMZ spotted Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony leaving Sofrito’s in New York City where they departed Carlos Beltran’s birthday party. When they asked about the new docuseries on The Learning Channel they made it very clear that it is not going to be a reality show.

Of cause I support Jlo, but a reality show is not what A list stars do, talented actress act. Jlo has no need to do a reality show. (I WOULD RATHER SEE HER IN SMALL PARTS OR EVEN ON TV AS QUEST SPOTS …THEN ON A REALITY SHOW)
HERE IS WHAT SIMON FIELDS HAD TO SAY:
“The recent show Jennifer Lopez plans to produce for TLC is not a reality show,” says her manager, Simon Fields. “It’s a show that will track the creation, production and eventual launch of a new fragrance. Jennifer will appear in a creative, entrepreneurial capacity and will absolutely not feature her children and family life.”
There is no broadcast date set for the show, but Fields says it will be this year

Honestly, I am such a Marc Anthony and Jen fan but I didn’t like their attitudes much in this video. Hey, if you want to be FAMOUS.. you have to really take the bad also. Glad there won’t be a reality show but They had some ATTITUDE!!! Didn’t like that side at all.

You know, I think they reacted so upset because they have worked very hard for the past year to keep the reletainship/private lives as private as possible. This is the same couple that didn’t announced their pregnancy until jen was 7 months (or something) pregnant already. They are really private now.
And I think that the original press release of TLC in which the channel tells it’s a reality show, which all the media picks up and makes headlines like “Jennifer Lopez to star in her own Reality Show” draws a lot of negative attention on them again because people immediately think of MTV/VH1 reality shows like The Newlyweds and that she’s going to show her kids in the show, how she’s ‘pimping out her kids’ etc.
While that clearly isn’t the case because the docuseries will involve around her carreer, her launching a new fragrance. So it’s not going to be a ‘reality’ reality show but more of a docu reality show.
No wonder they reacted so intense cause thousands of people now think that she’s going to star in a personal private reality show while she’s clearly not.
You know what I mean?
