Jennifer Lopez and Andy Hilfiger put a sweet face on their fashion collaboration - but the divorce could be getting messy.
Jennifer Lopez is revving up her lawyers to take on former fashion partner Andy Hilfiger, we hear from a source.
The two parted ways last year after a disappointing collaboration on her label, Sweetface. Despite huge hype and a presence at New York Fashion Week, the line never lived up to expectations.
“It is expected that she will file suit and that he will countersue,” says a source close to one of the parties. “They’re likely to sue each other.”
The split took place after years of seemingly cordial relations that even saw Hilfiger attending the Sweetface shows with his designer brother, Tommy.
Last year, Radar magazine reported that one reason for the rift was the hands-on approach of J.Lo’s husband, Marc Anthony. His involvement in Lopez’s business dealings reportedly cramped Hilfiger, who was the Sweetface CEO.
“Andy is very happily back at the Hilfiger empire,” says the snitch of his decision to return to his brother’s business.
Reps for both sides did not comment Tuesday.

WHY WASTE THE TIME?
Jen has always been the face, she can do it on her own. I want to see Jen put out quality clothes and see these up and coming celebs wear her stuff. I can’t wait for her next movie and her next record.

I just don’t understand why she would the J.Lo line when it’s so successful. Sometimes a reinvention is not always needed.
And fuck Andy Hilfiger, the Hilfiger name has not been relevant to fashion for quite some time.

first off i want to say that its dissapointing how Jennifer discontinued the famous JLO brand. her new line just sweet sucks (my opinion)…its not what the JLO brand was….i dunno why she decided to discontinue a brand that was making millions a year…and like this article says Marc is always behind her business moves..and in everything…like most of us already know…now shes giving Beyonce business =[..now that shes preggo nothing matters…hopefully in a few years when she divorces marc she’ll get her act together.
