Congrats to Jennifer for winning the Latino Artist “Most Sales” award for her spanish language album “Como Ama Una Mujer”. Jen was not able to attend the event but she did record a thank you video for excepting the award.

Jennifer Lopez was originally set to perform at this coming Sunday’s Movies Rock concert at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, but as of today, it was announced she’s going to keep it simple and only present.

No matter. The rockin’ shindig celebrating music and film is going to be, as the kids like to say, off da hook.

The live event will feature performances by Beyoncé, Carrie Underwood, Chris Brown, Sir Elton John, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige, among many others. (Lopez’s husband, Marc Anthony, is still scheduled to perform.)

In addition to Jennifer Lopez, presenters include Charlize Theron, Harrison Ford, John C. Reilly, Josh Duhamel, Kate Hudson and Shirley MacLaine.

Movies Rock, produced by Condé Nast Media Group, the Producers Guild of America and the Entertainment Industry Foundation, will be broadcast Dec. 7 on CBS.

There is quite some Jennifer Lopez promo going on during the following two months in Japan. Jennifer graces the december cover of music/fashion magazine BLENDA, music magazine INROCK and fashion magazine GLITTER.

We also have the very first Jlo magazine cover of 2008! She’ll be on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Japan — January issue. Below are mid quality previews for the covers (except for the Bazaar one, which is large). If anyone manages to get their hands on any of the four magazine and would like to scan them for us; that would be amazing.

Today, I have done a huge gallery update in the magazine scans section — 177 scans to be precise. All the scans (except for the Hola and Bazaar december issue ones) are donated by the lovely Lianne. I was planning to add these a long time ago but I just couldn’t find the time. The section is still not fully up to date as some scans are still missing. I also have some mags still laying around to get scanned. Feel free to contact us if you have anything to donate to the site.

Some of you might have noticed that the gallery was down for today. It was because I was upgrading the gallery to a better version and I have also added a mod-package to the gallery. Still unsure if we’re gonna use any mods in the gallery, but for now I thought it would be the best to have it already installed so we won’t have to take the gallery down again anytime soon. I hope everyone likes the new look and if there occur to be any problems, please let us know. Click on the image to go to the photo gallery.

Guest Art Director Marc Jacobs teamed up with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott on the newest installment of the coveted fashion quarterly, Visionaire, which comes housed this time in a limited-edition Louis Vuitton case designed by Jacobs. Alas and Piggott photographed a series of intimate portraits of today’s most inspiring contemporary icons, traveling to New York, London and Paris in search of their personal muses. Subjects include actors Drew Barrymore, Scarlett Johansson and Selma Blair; singers Jennifer Lopez and Lil’ Kim; models Gisele Bundchen, Stephanie Seymour and Christy Turlington; New York City Ballet principle dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied; and fashion designers Marc Jacobs, Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney, to name a few.
