Brave’s #1 debut in Japan on English Album chart!

I am truly happy to hear that Brave has debuted at #1 on the Japanese Oricon English Albums Chart after the first week of it’s release. Which means it currently is the biggest English selling album in Japan. That’s a pretty huge deal. I hope Jennifer Lopez goes on a small promotional tour to Japan like she did with Rebirth. Congrats Jen!

I’m so happy for her that is where this album should have been on the billboard charts. This is her best album ever. I’m really pissed that brave didn’t do better in the US!!!! I don’t understand how ppl don’t love someone as amazingly beautiful and talented as her!! I don’t get it!

lilly, i wasn’t meaning to giving our visitors false information. someone from japan emailed me and told it was #1. I think she forgot to tell that it’s #1 on the English albums chart in Japan. But still that’s good because that means it’s currently the best english selling album in Japan. I’ll edit the post now. My excuses.

Well you have to admit when it comes to certain music in the US it doesn’t surprise me that sales were low. In the US people are so, so, and I will add another so critcal! Everything is perfection. When it comes to others countries they dig this kind of music. They love those types of beats. The way I see it if it ain’t country music or ain’t someone with a high pitched voice that sounds like a cat being choked or if it ain’t a “certain race” people won’t feel it. I will continue to stand by my word that brave is an awesome album and I am glad that even though the success is outside the US that still it got reconized! I am sorry if I am typing too much but that’s the impression I am getting. I am still shocked because with the amount of promotion that went behind “BRAVE” how didn’t it not sell?! That’s something that shocks me! But you never know maybe next week it could turn around for the better.

…One more thing to add is I really hope that Epic/Jennifer decide to release singles and stand behind this beautiful album. I remember when she was doing promo for “Rebirth” I remember in a radio interview she said in other words and I don’t remember cause it was awhile ago but she was saying like if rebirth were to not do well that shouldn’t bother shelling singles on an album that did real bad! Now like I said I did not say she exactly said that I am saying she in other words try to mean that. I am hoping “BRAVE” gets released as a single! Sooner or later we will find out!

NEW SINGLE ASAP!
i think she should not just release one new single but like a couple kinda like what she did with “J.LO”…she only released 2 singles in “REBIRTH” we need more this time!
i feel she should release in this order:
1) DO IT WELL ( already single lol)
2) MILE IN THESE SHOES (picture this song being SO hot)
3) NEVER GONNA GIVE UP (beautiful)
4) BRAVE (perfect, and alot of other ppl enjoy this song)
i gess might as well throw in hold it dont drop it cuz its not even doin that bad on the charts for a song that has not got as muc promotion the do it well, and is doin better the DIW lol…
RELEASE THESE SINGLES ASAP! CUZ PPL CAN JUS LISTEN TO THEM ON THE NET AND DOWNLOAD EM THEN WEHN U DO RELEASE THEM PPL WILL NOT LIKE IT AS MUCH!
