too many album downloads…..and not enough promotion…………also a second single should have been pushed out by now ……….But people really dont realize how badly illegal album downloads can hurt an artist

IDK but there has to be something her fans can do, request the single? maybe the numbers will be better next week. I think the second single and video should be released ASAP and the vid has to be off the hook, which IDK how easy that will be since she is pregnant. However she needs to rls the right single on the albm is history MITS or forever or WWYG . She should sing her nxt single on daning with the stars with some hot dancers. I for one am going to buy a second cd to have in my car. Maybe her fans need to go out and buy the album cuz those numbers dont lie they say…..her fans did not go out and buy the album, or am I missing something???

I don’t know what will be the 2nd single, but she needs to relase it at soon at possible! I think , too, that she should dancing more, but if she pregnant she can’t do it very well.

To sell more records I agree that Jennifer needs to pick up the right song (in my opinion MITS) and a very hot new video, a là ‘Love don’t cost a thing’ or something. Altough the fact that she’s pregnant pretty much narrows the options :/
I’m starting to believe this was a bad time to release the album.

I agree about a new hot vid. Can you imagine how hot it would be if she admitted her pregnancy, and was able to make a MITS vid stomping around in her YSLs?
Don’t get me wrong, Im not saying she should use her pregnancy for publicity. But because she is preggos…she shouldn’t stop making her vids. to use her popular line, ‘you know what I mean?’

well this explains everything I feel so let down, it seems sony music insiders according to fox news that sony did not put a lot of money into this record, they recorded it because it was part of jlo exsiting deal. What does that mean? are they droping her? If they did not care for it why put it out? according to foxnews soon jlo will have a lot of other things to worry about ok can someone please explain I always knew ppl at foxnews were jlo haters, but damn sony is her record lable and they have dont nothing to promote this album or even to make sure they were coming out with the right single just like her last english ablum I’m sensing very little love for jlo at sony.

I think using illegal downloads as an excuse is weak. I think there just wasn’t enough excitment for this album… where were the magazine covers? I mean c’mon who reads Allure Magazine…
There just wasn’t enough buzz about this record. She should have just said she was pregnant so people would have gotten over that, it was to distracting. I also think Jennifer should take more risks with her music and make a dance record. She just doesn’t have the chops to support an r&b like record but a dance record for sure… something fun and be more creative… Brave just sounds like the rest of her efforts… people get bored and they notice these things.

I believe a major problem is that nobody buys CDs anymore, ppl got used to just downloading the songs. It’s no excuse but it’s something to think about…
Also her public image is not as strong as it was before. Jennifer hasn’t had a hit movie in a while and hasn’t been out-and-about much (not that I blame her, the “bennifer” days probably traumatized her!)
I don’t know but perhaps in the future she should focus on the spanish-language market cause we all know Como ama una mujer did sell very well.
OR our girl needs to take some time off, have her baby(ies), enjoy her life and then make a hot comeback like Mariah did. That would be the perfect alternative in my honest opinion.
Anyway I’m sorry but I can’t really say I’m disappointed cuz I loved the album
If no one else had bought it, I’d still LOVE it. I think it’s awesome, Jenny just can’t do wrong in my book.

Well whenn stars come out on DWTS, they’ve been known to usually sing a hit song, and then take the stage a second time for a new song performance. So who knows, maybe we’ll get our second single there.

Sara I do agree with ur stmt…there was not much advertisment for Brave…I mean only her fans knew her album was dropping…there was not much buzz around it….SHE NEEDS a NEXT SINGLE ASAP…do it well in my opinion was not the right choice and the video was not all that either…Miles in these shoes should be released ASAP!!! Also, IMKO what;s up with the lack of update on the site…it has been 3 days and nothing!!! it’s time to keep the JLo Machine going!!!!
