Jennifer Lopez seen leaving a hotel in Toronto. Jennifer reportedly headed off to the Air Canada Center where she would perform one of the 20 concerts from her and Marc’s Juntos en Concierto tour, October 10, 2007.

If J. Lo really wanted to get bold, she would have led off her fifth album with its namesake track. It’s a declaration of newfound fearlessness that Lopez sings like a nymphish Madonna, set to a steady beat and triumphant strings. The song is so good and convincingly personal that you want the rest of the album to bloom from it, like “Ray of Light” after “Substitute for Love.” But “Brave” is the closer, not the opener, and the album is another market-smart collection of radio fodder, rather than Lopez’s artistic breakout. That said, no one does classy pop quite like she does. “Do It Well” has one of her signature hip-hop breakdowns, “Forever” is harem R&B like Beyoncé’s “Baby Boy,” and “Gotta Be There” samples a helium-ed Michael Jackson and references hip-hop dancefloor burner “Puerto Rico.” Maybe it should be called “Smart” instead. —Kerri Mason

yea ive been reading review of the album and its not gettin good reviews this billboard one is the best i’ve heard so far!
personally i love the album…but is it realy doing that bad? 60,000 opening week?!is that the predicted amount? jennifer needs to release a new single FAST…i think MILE IN THESE SHOES

I just came back from Toronto, I saw her in concert and it was AMAZING!!!! we drove 5 hours all the way from the states to go see her and we had first row tickets!!! She is 150% PREGNANT!!!!! it’s amazing though how much energy she had on stage being Pregnant!!! and Marc got a 15mn standing ovation!!!!

its on hitsdailydouble.com, they’re usually ALWAYS right. They predicted 50K for CAUM, and it did 49K. I just hope it goes up cause they update that everyday. She’s not getting #1 though, sadly. I didn’t even think she had competition.

60,000 is..im sorry to say but thats realy pathetic like i feel like she should hav released one more single before her album dropped
thats surprising though, becuase of all her promoting and the tour which is said to be doing very good…:s
i hope she releases a new single, and it becomes a MONSTER HIT and then she can sit on the top of the charts, where she belongs:)

It means that Do It Well wasn’t good single, because album is one of the best in her career, but I still hope that these predictions about sales number will change. Epic should release a new single quickly, there are so many great song on Brave.

I don’t see why y’all so worried. Her tour is doing great, Brave is a good album(all the fans love it), plus, Jennifer never looked so happy. Who cares about numbers really?
I’m sure they’re pulling out a hot new single to bust the sales,guys.

hey deevalopez….yes I was sitting on the front row…so yes I saw a baby bump…she is PREGNANT!!!! I am soooo HAPPY for her and she still danced and jumped around and everything!!!! AMAZING!!

Yes i know that sales is not the most important, but on the other hand i wish that Brave is massive hit, but unfortunately the first week of sales is very important to achieve a good result in general, it’s sad but true

You guys should worry about sales, she does have a record contract to maintain. Big names have been dropped before, i.e. Mariah.

i know the fans love the album, but in the end its not if her fans love it, its if every1 else loves it because if she does not sell any records then she will loose alot of money and she will loose alot of her fame a perfect example being mariah carey, as angel already said, after glitter she was GONE then luckly came back with the mimi album so it does matter alot!

I bought the album twice!! One when I was in the states, but then I was scared that the record might not do well in the Netherlands, so I bought another one here….
