Jenny is heading back to the block to kick off her first concert tour. Actress and singer Jennifer Lopez will meet kids at the Bronx’s Public School 36 - only feet from her own Holy Family School alma mater - on Tuesday.

She and her husband, crooner Marc Anthony, are heading out on tour together on Friday. They were invited to the school as special guests of ING’s “Run for Something Better” campaign, which encourages exercise in schools. The effort will receive $1 from every ticket the pair sells.

“Everyone is truly excited about this. The best part for me is that the children will have a memory that will last forever.”

said PS 36 Principal Nilda Rivera, who attended the same elementary school as Anthony, PS 121 in Manhattan.

Lopez and Anthony, escorted by Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion, will watch a race and meet with some students before J.Lo talks to third-, fourth- and fifth-graders about the importance of health. Second-graders were making a banner for the stars’ visit yesterday.

“They are just so excited,” “They can’t contain themselves.”

Says Teacher Brenda Gallo. And it wasn’t just the kids who were looking forward to the visit, Dulce Mendez, 27, whose daughter Ana Castro, 4, is a pupil at PS36, said;

“I’ll be here to see her,” “My husband is a bigger fan than me, so he will be here, too.”

The tour includes two nights at Madison Square Garden on Oct.7 and 8.
