Update on Do It Well & Hold It Don’t Drop It Single Release in the US

As we all might know, Jennifer Lopez is doing a simultaneous first single release for her new english album. Some believe that means she will release “Hold It, Don’t Drop It” in Europe and “Do It Well” in the US. Now, according to contactmusic.com, she will release both singles in the US. “Hold It, Don’t Drop It” will be allocated to pop stations while “Do It Well” will be sent out to urban stations. So make sure you request both songs at your local radio station.

In a way, this news feed confirms what I argumented weeks ago in this website. Jennifer Lopez has a divided fanbase: the pop and the urban/street listeners. But interestingly enough, sweetface86 plants out that only the ”Do it Well” single is listed in her official website. I guess we’ll have to wait for the official plans to come out (hopefully soon). But either way, it’s a very great plan from Jennifer’s team! Can’t wait for the music videos and the album’s photoshoot
