Here’s a 2:15 minute clip of “Hold It, Push It“. The song is kind of funky - like “Whatever You Wanna Do” for example. I like it, even though it’s totally different than what I expected. I am not disappointed but I feel like it could have been something better. I probably need to give it a few more spins. Anyway, decide for yourself.

WOW!! I love this song its got that dance vibe that seems to be the trend of the moment and is way hot! Instantly reminds me of Kayne and Daft Punk’s collab for the song “stronger” and also Groove Armada’s “Song 4 Mutya” a collab with Mutya Buena (formerly of the sugababes) 2 of my fav songs at the mo’! Cant wait for the video- gonna be hot for sure!!

to be honest I’m kinda dissapointed, I expected something more upbeat/clubbanger. its so 70’s to me. the beat of the verses is nice, but the beat is of the chorus is kinda ugh to me, too much going on. and damn I wish it was something like Kanye’s stronger, that is the hottest shit right now imo!
hopefully this track will grow on me after a few spins

I honetly think it’s not all that. ”Get Right” is way better than this and it wasn’t a huge hit on the charts (US). I thought this was gonna have an ”On the 6” vibe, but it seems the news were exaggerating it. I wish that Jennifer Lopez would return and be the talk of the year with her music, but I guess that ain’t gonna happen

im dissapointed..i thought it was going to be a hip hop song…like “love dont cost a thing” or “aint it funny Remix”…its like “whatever u want” the same concept..i dont like it..she should come out with “wrong when ur gone”..instead of of “Hold it push it”…Jen couldve done better..and i thought swizz bweatz was going to produce this song..doesnt sound like him huh???….hopefully the album will have BETTER songs

But Jen is not Rihanna or Beyoncé. She’s not an only R&B singer, she’s a pop-street-hip hop-r&b - dance artist! She’s trying new ways, I think it is so positive: it would have been too obvious to produce a song like Umbrella or something like that. Hold it don’t drop it is totally new … and it’s amazing for that !

well said julyleo. Jen is not a singer who does the same things again and again. when you hear asong of her you can’t say that another song of someone else just sounds like that. Her songs are cool and different and just brings you in the mood of the song. That’s why she’s the best and you’ll see this same song is going to be a great hit..maybe she will do it again that her movie el cantante and her english album is number 1 at the same time, like it happend with her album JLO and movie the wedding planner…and about the video it would be nice if marc is in the video..nice to see them together after No Me Ames, but i think they should make a video together for the song Por Arriesgarnos..that will be so romantic and beautiful..let’s wait and watch
